Our history

Everything started in a friendship history

 

 

This project was created in 2002 by two friends who shared a passion for great food and wines.

So it is no surprise that we take pride in our carefully selected ingredients.

 

We chose de name "A Lota" (the fish market) because we are situated close to the old fish market in Alvor.

 Every day the freshly caught fish were traded here.

The locals still hold the tradition of meeting there at the end of a day's work.
